Patients are referred for an evaluation by a physician who can decide if a patient is appropriate for Home Sleep Testing. If appropriate, the physician sends the order to Independent Sleep Diagnostics and we contact the patient to set up payment and shipment of device directly to their home. Once the patient has the device they are instructed how to use it via both a video and written instructions. The patient mails the device back to Independent Sleep Diagnostics the following day in a pre-paid envelope. The study is scored by a Registered Sleep Technologist and interpreted by a Board Certified Sleep Specialist. The patient’s physician is sent the results of the test within 4-6 business days and then can review the result of the study with the patient and select appropriate treatment.
